Video: Better print performance thanks to subscription model

WEIG-Packaging has been producing folding cartons for the FMCG sector on two modern Heidelberg presses since 2018. The cooperation is based on a subscription model. This means that only printed sheets are invoiced, consumables and maintenance included.

This pay-per-use model fits seamlessly into the other automation and digitisation projects at the Emskirchen plant, such as driverless transportation systems and innovative assistance systems for machine maintenance.

The following video was produced as part of the Heidelberg Innovation Week 2021 and shows how WEIG-Packaging is making the industry 4.0 a reality thanks to its cooperation with Heidelberg.
